Stutler Announces Hawkeye Labor Council Endorsement
Marion, Iowa – May 3, 2016
Joe Stutler, of Marion, Iowa, announced a key endorsement today. The Hawkeye Labor Council AFL-CIO endorsed Stutler at their April 26 Delegate Meeting. Stutler is seeking the Linn County Democratic Party’s Nomination in the June 7, 2016 primary election.
In an April 27 letter informing Stutler of their decision, Executive Director Rick Moyle cited Stutler’s community activism, support for our military veterans, and experience serving on the Linn County Elections Absentee and Early Ballot Special Precinct Board as some of the factors that influenced the HLC’s delegates. “If elected, we have faith that you will always do what is best for working people and all members of our communities in Linn County”, Moyle wrote.
Stutler is running to bring transparency, accountability, and collaboration to the Auditor’s office.
